Sanctuary Retirement Homes

A Story of Home, Told by Those Who Live It
We created a commercial in Canada for a modern retirement community—using real residents and real moments. At the center is a heartfelt story about a family moving their mother into Sanctuary, a place designed not just for care, but for belonging.

The unexpected star? Agnes, 100 years old—the oldest resident and our newest icon. With no actors and no scripts, the film captures genuine emotion, quiet courage, and the beauty of a new chapter. Agnes brings wisdom, humor, and grace, reminding us that it’s never too late for a fresh beginning—and that home is defined by the people inside it.

Synopsis:
"Gun" is a poignant short film tracing a World War II firearm from the 1940s to the present day. Crafted with a loose script and performed by non-actors, the film features unique individuals—villagers and city locals—whose lives intersect with the gun’s journey, imbuing each moment with authenticity and depth.
Originally conceived as a warning against violence, the film’s tragic irony became reality when a real shooting occurred at the very school where it was filmed. Gun stands as a haunting reflection on the impact of firearms and the weight of our choices.

Pick up a camera. Shoot something.

No matter how small, no matter how cheesy.

No matter whether your friends and your sister star in it.

Put your name on it as director. Now you’re a director.

Everything after that you’re just negotiating your budget and your fee.

– James Cameron
